Each module will have a 20000 Newton, approximately 5000 pound force, rocket engine. This engine must be designed for easy manufacturing but also must stand up to tremendous pressures and temperatures. In order to meet these requirements the system will use an ablative chamber with a graphite nozzle. These methods are commonly used by hobbyists and scale easily to the engine size needed by the module. Using graphite and ablative liners allows for easy production and reproducibility.
