Each module will be powered by a micro-controller. This micro-controller will be able to make millions of calculations per second to keep the module within operating parameters. The system will take temperature, pressure, and voltage readings in various locations and report conditions that are out side of the normal operating parameters to the main flight computer at the center of the stack. The system will communicate using the X-Bee wireless modules. X-Bee is a derivative of Zig-Bee and has a capability of 65,535 broadcast nodes. This gives us plenty of room to grow.
