Taught 11 different undergraduate courses and 4 different graduate courses;
Developed 6 new courses; Developed major laboratory experience; Very
favorable student evaluations; 10 independent study projects; 7 Masters
and 2 Ph.D students graduated.
Research: 17 Refereed
articles; 60 funded grants totaling 5.3 million; sponsored by
NASA Langley, Florida Space Grant Consortium, Technology Research and
Development Authority and Westinghouse Corporation, NASA STTR.

Synergistic Teaching Activities:
- Managed a State
of Florida Department of Education project to educate K-12 teachers
in new technologies workshops. Responsible for program direction, goals,
vision and direction. Developed strategies for growth, marketing,
promotions, operations and delivery. Developed partnerships with 8 Central
Florida school districts; worked with state agency to meet standards
and certification criteria.
- Managed all departments
such as promotion, curriculum development, registration, finance and
accounting, technology support, teacher relationship. Responsibilities
included Overall fiscal responsibility and teaching many of the workshops.
- Managed the Orlando
Smart grant, ran a weeklong workshop for local teachers on how to better
integrate technology into their curriculum.
- A CO-PI on the GK-12
grant and helped to instruct teachers on new methods of teaching math
and science.
- Developed tools,
curriculum, and workshops for K-12 teachers as part of the project described
above. This includes developing curriculum activities for teacher workshops
and K-12 science classes consistent with the Sunshine State Standards
and science learning benchmarks.
- Have also taught
1 day science & engineering programs for K-12 classes on site.
