The electronics are almost finalized. We are using Netburner 5213 modules to control the entire module. The electronics have been designed to be modular as well. They assemble in a stack. The first board contains the microcontroller and the headers. We have designed a RS-232 board for the stack as well as a MOSFET driver board. The A2D input board is almost complete as well.
The modules will communicate using ZigBee. We will soon design a XBee board for the stack. It will use the second UART on the Netburner. This will allow all of the modules to communicate. The main flight controller will send commands to all modules as well as listen for alarms from the modules.
