Good igniter test
The group managed to get together to run another test of the igniter. The new igniter had a chamber pressure 70 PSI. It uses Oxygen and Propane. The previous igniter used gaseous Propane. This time we used liquid Propane.
Some video clips. The flame can not be seen but it can be heard. We placed a piece of wood under the igniter to see what it could do. It pierced a hole in one piece and in the video you can see sparks flying from the wood.
The igniter was running with more oxygen than I like. The regulator I was using on the propane had a max of 80 PSI and it needed to be way above that. This is why we made the igniter glowed so easily. This problem will be fixed on the next run.
